Fishing

Excellent fishing can be found on Loon Lake which is approximately four miles long, two miles wide; as well as many of the surrounding lakes. Loon Lake itself covers 1,025 acres and has a maximum depth of 202 ft. One can find trout, northern pike, small mouth bass, rock bass, and the occasional walleye.  Bring your own boat or rent one of ours.

We do not sell fishing licenses or bait on-site. Nearest bait shop is 15 minutes from us.  Buy a license from the Holiday Gas Station when driving through the town of Grand Marais.
