If arriving after hours there will be a property map on the lodge door to help guide you to your cabin. We will leave the porch light on at your cabin. Come find us after breakfast if you need anything!

Pets / Children

Please KEEP PETS OFF THE BED and other furniture. We ask that pets be crated if left alone in your cabin. Barking dogs will be asked to leave. Leash your dog if other dogs are present. Pet owners are responsible for proper pet waste disposal and all damage caused by pets.

$30 per night per pet, $180 per week per pet. 2 pet max per cabin.

Children 8 and younger stay for FREE!

Deposits / Cancellations

A deposit of $500 or the full amount of your stay if less is required to guarantee a reservation. Your deposit will be refunded, minus a $50 handling fee if cancellation is received 60 days prior to your reservation. Cancellations less than 60 days (regardless of the reason) will forfeit the full deposit and any remaining balance. However, the total amount can be credited and applied towards a future stay (of equal or greater value) within 12 months of the original arrival date. To avoid any misunderstanding, guests will be charged for all nights reserved including early departures.

Because we are a small operation cancellations affect us greatly. It is necessary to strictly adhere to our cancellation policy, and we appreciate your understanding.

Loon Lake Lodge is a family-owned business. To help support us, as well as the local community of Grand Marais we encourage our guests to pay with cash or check whenever possible. Paying with cash or check keeps money within the local economy, instead of paying credit card companies and big banks through surcharges.
